Copper and Gold Mine

Located near the Ok Tedi River of Papua New Guinea this copper and gold mine lies in a region well known for its high rainfall and frequent earthquakes. Mine development and operations pose serious daily challenges. ECRS/Metalock has been assisting the mine with a variety of repairs for many years now. Some of our repairs include a gyratory crusher frame, ball mill girth gear, SAG mill shell repairs, a cracked gear box, mill gear teeth and much more. We have utilized both our mechanical repair components and our various weld procedures to great effect in providing the mine with dependable repairs for their equipment.
