In 2008 a lead zinc mine accounted for 55% of the mineral value produced in Alaska and 10% of the world’s zinc production. In November of that year ECRS/Metalock provided its repair services to the mine by boring out a mill trunnion to allow for a sleeve repair. This kept the mine operating at optimal capacity to complete one of its most productive years ever.
